This project is an expansion to the existing Washoe County School District facily formerly known as the Regional Technical Insitute, located at 380 on Edison Way in the industrial area of Reno. The projet began as an expansion onto the adjacent 2 acre vacant parcel but ultimately expanded into development across the entire 10 acre parcel. Additional improvements included development of 100 new parking spaces in the center and northern portions of the site. Venture Engineering provided site civil design services to the local project Architect, Take Snyder and Kimsey Architects. City of Reno low impact development (LID) storm water management was implemented in the design. Construction began in 2009 and was completed a year later.
